Far too often there seems to be a divide between the police and the public. This podcast is dedicated to bridging the gap between police and the communities they serve. As a former law enforcement executive, I will analyze police procedures and give a layman's understanding to the public. I will also review relevant events that are occurring around the U.S. in attempts to give the public some of the reasons why the police may have taken certain courses of action. The goal of this program is to bring all groups together and to work in harmony to make all communities better and more cohesive.

CT is one of the states that are wrestling with making changes to the law as applied to police accountability and transparency. Atty Elliot Spector joins me to discuss the bill that has been presented before the CT legislature. As of the posting of this episode, the bill has been passed and signed by the governor.
