Far too often there seems to be a divide between the police and the public. This podcast is dedicated to bridging the gap between police and the communities they serve. As a former law enforcement executive, I will analyze police procedures and give a layman's understanding to the public. I will also review relevant events that are occurring around the U.S. in attempts to give the public some of the reasons why the police may have taken certain courses of action. The goal of this program is to bring all groups together and to work in harmony to make all communities better and more cohesive.

Far too often citizens are complaining about the police. The Police this and the police that. But if you ask these same citizens if they would like to become an officer to protect their community and demonstrate the correct way to enforce the law, then you will get blank stares or relieve a flat out "no". This is a terrible shame that many people can criticize but never volunteer their skills and education in order to protect their communities. This episode is dedicated to asking the pertinent question "do you have what it takes?" The challenge is simple and clear. If you have what it takes to enforce the law impartially, faithfully and with compassion then your local department needs you. Let's see ho many people are willing to step up to the challenge.
