George Floyd: One Year Later, What Have We Gained?

We passed the one-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd at the hands (knee) of Derek Chauvin. As a society,  what have we gained in the long run? People are rioting and our politicians are paralyzed by putting their politics over the people.
