Far too often there seems to be a divide between the police and the public. This podcast is dedicated to bridging the gap between police and the communities they serve. As a former law enforcement executive, I will analyze police procedures and give a layman's understanding to the public. I will also review relevant events that are occurring around the U.S. in attempts to give the public some of the reasons why the police may have taken certain courses of action. The goal of this program is to bring all groups together and to work in harmony to make all communities better and more cohesive.

More and more research is revealing that officers who train in MMA style of self defense are more confident in their approach with citizens. My dept worked with such a trainer, Chris Smith. This was a facebook live (I think my 1st one). We recorded it shortly after the Floyd incident. Watching the Chauvin trial and seeing one of the prosecution's witnesses I realized that never uploaded this ep as an audio file. Of course the video is on YouTube and my Facebook page (Captain Hunter's Podcast).
